I was raised in a house of a pastor. Over the years I saw multitudes of people who were in need on a daily basis. I left home and married a wonderful lady who knows how to cook.
I was born and raised in a Christian home. I came out to Washington State to attend College. Before College started I met my husband.
We have been happily married for 30 years, raising two girls. Our ministry started on the streets of Seattle, feeding the homeless and the less fortunate. We cooked everything on the sidewalks of 4th & Yesler. Thankfully God had grace on us. No one was hurt or burned from the flames of the cookers.
We worked the streets of Seattle for about 3 years, and then moved our services to the streets of Everett, feeding the homeless and young adults that were homeless. They called themselves the Sofa Sleepers. (They would crash on someones sofa for a couple of days, and then go to anothers.) That work was for another 2 years. Then we turned it over to another group. Additionally we ran a food bank out of our home for 2 more years.
It is time for a new chapter of our lives. We will feed the homeless and the less fortunate of North Snohomish County. God has given us a larger vision. We are no longer going to stay small, and do something only once a week. Our plan now is to provide meals 5 days a week and serve the community in Disasters. We have been blessed with a small sixteen foot trailer and a one ton truck. But this is not enough.
As we grow, the Lord will provide newer and larger trailers with trucks to pull them.
In the vision the Lord gave to us, we are to prepare for Disasters, to show His love and grace, by providing meals, and support in time of need.
Would you prayerfully consider helping us?
